In today's hectic and complex world, it is more crucial than ever to carve ourselves our own unique space, somewhere we feel we belong. This was the sentiment that emerged from our Trend Forecast brainstorming session, in which internationally known design professionals expressed their predictions for what we'll need from our houses in the next years.
Our discussions inspired the Dulux Colour of the Year 2024 subject, 'A place where you belong', and the shade, Sweet Embrace™. We've produced three simple colour palettes based on this soft and cheerful tone: Warm, Calm, and Uplifting. Each of them provides a unique approach to creating a setting in which you feel entirely at home.
Begin with a positive foundation.
Sweet Embrace™ is a beautiful and uplifting colour inspired by silky feathers and twilight clouds. In addition to being a warm and useful single tone, it's an excellent foundation colour that may be used with a variety of other colours. It is subtle and refined, changing tones according on the lighting, adding warmth to north-facing interiors and softness to sunlight rooms.
